PT PAS (Pasifik Agro Sentosa) is a private company that primarily focuses on palm oil and sugar refinery. The total land size that PT PAS possesses is ±108,000 ha, with ±53,733 ha planted of oil palm, ±7,238 balance to be planted and ±9,632 for future project of oil palm plantation and ± 27,600 ha future project for sugar plantation. Palm oil milling capacity of 125 Tons FFB (Fresh Fruit Bunch)/ hour. The sugar refinery capacity up to 400.000 Tons/year.

PT PAS has recognized and supported by ISO, ISCC, OHSAS, and SNI certifications such as ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 14001 for environment management system, ISO 22000 for food safety, OHSAS 18001 for occupational health and safety, SNI for sugar refinery qualification, ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) and received PROPER award.

PT PAS adopts 3P (Profit, People, and Planet) and utilize it as their guidelines. PT PAS believes that balance between economy, ecology, and social is necessary for the success of the company. The company needs to maintain the balance of the three while ensuring the corporate goals achieved successfully. Being long term business with huge investment, palm oil is a business that requires involvement of surrounding communities and proper guidelines for a stronger and stable foundation. PT CUS has been very active in performing conservation by providing about 10,000 ha, approximately 20 % of the concession area for conservation purposes. PT CUS implemented a program called Conservation Area Management Program and cooperate with FFI (Flora and Fauna International), USAID-IFACS (United State Agency for International Development-Indonesia Forest and Climate Support), and receive guidance from Natural Resources Conservation Center (BKSDA). PT CUS has been recognized as the permanent member of the RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil). The collaboration has been attracting various worldwide NGOs (Non-Government Organizations) soon after they have seen the company’s commitment in performing the conservation. Government bodies expect PT CUS to become a role model for other Palm Oil plantations and businesses in West Kalimantan. Since 2005, PT CUS had started a program known as Community Development Program that has existed since then and will continue managing social welfare and empowering neighboring communities. The program is still ongoing and striving to find better and effective method to foster and instill participation of the community surrounding the business.
