They formally launched their first store (flagship store) around 4,000sqm, with exhibition concept, located at SCBD Jakarta, Indonesia. Electronic City has strengthened commitments to develop its unique characters as a modern electronic retailed trendsetter and staying one step ahead of the retail industry.
Electronic City manages a growing network which contains 69 stores and many more to come. We are present in 10 out of the 17 largest cities in Sumatra, Java and Bali, and we are looking forward to extend our presence to other major islands as well.
Our business and expansion strategy has shown positive results. Our number of outlet growth is 60% CAGR for 2010 – 2012, the highest among peers. We are also the market leader in modern retail channel with 41.5% of market share. Our retail sales value per square meter is almost three times to our closest peer. Our performance has also achieved several awards; among them are Super brands (#1 Electronic Center) for 2013, Top Brand Award (#1 Electronic Appliance Store) for 2009 – 2013, and Corporate Image Award (#1 Electronic Supermarket) for 2012 & 2013.
